Once you have completed your CBT, Full or restricted licence with Westside why not develop your skills and have a lot of fun learning the basics of riding Off Road?

Riding Off Road will definitely help improve your on road skills and will really develop your handling and balance techniques.

This in turn will help to boost your confidence on your road bike.

We are very pleased to be able to offer Off Road training with one of Europe's top Off Road instructors.  Steve Saunders reputation as a world class off road rider is undisputed, 10 times British trials champion and twice runner up in the world championships, Steve's wealth of Off Road knowledge and easy going teaching techniques make his training courses informative, safe and great fun.

Steve offers a variety of courses starting with the basics of learning how to ride standing up and moving onto manoeuvring the motorcycle at slow speeds, improving clutch control and braking ability, ascending and descending hills, riding on cambers and in ruts, hill recovery techniques and more. 

Steve's courses can be tailored to the complete beginner or the more advanced rider.  All equipment can be provided, including hire bike, helmet & gloves.

Courses can be booked on a one to one basis or with a group of friends and family.

The basic skills course costs £125 and consists of a full day of tuition & includes bike & equipment hire. 


Steve uses trials bikes to teach his off road courses.  Light weight and easy to handle, these machines are perfect for learning off road techniques.


All of Steve's courses are taught at a 12 acre private practice area in Gloucester which has a large variety of terrain.
